Kaktus

“Una forma primariae comunque accettata, a volte inaspettatamente genera, come in un processo de rigetto, una situazione complessa e del tutto inaccettabile”.

The cactus, a single type of cactus, as the only part of the exhibition. Photographs of the different sizes were hung on the walls, always reproducing one type of cactus on different backgrounds. In the gallery space different cactus is placed, repeating the type and the same dimensions and characteristics. They are spread around the room, keeping a distance between them.

Exhibition features: A tape with the dictionary definition of the word “cactus” was written on it. This definition is repeated several times like a chorus and introduces a different phrase every time at the end.

The phrase sounded like this: “At night the Polaris was signaled and the light made it strangely cold”. “It would have been an isolated one, had I followed that line I would have seen thousands”.
