Italian design is not only famous for its furniture.

In the 1950s the Italians decided to create their first motorcycle, the Ducati Cucciolo, which later became known as the 55M. In 1952, the European firm produced the motorcycle 175cc Cruiser, a model that came out with electric starter and automatic transmission. In 1954, engineer Fabio Tagnoli, one of those responsible for the design and construction of the Ducati Tourist 174 and the 4-stroke single-cylinder single-shaft engine, joined the brand.

Ducati grew and in 1957 debuted the Tourist 274, a 4-stroke engine motorcycle. The Italian motorcycle revolution arrived in the United States, so in 1961 the company designed the famous Ducati Scrambler, which was specifically designed for the demanding American market.

Later, Ducati would launch new models to the world market, such as the Mach 250, the 450 Mark 3D that could reach 170 km/h and had the Desmodronic distribution system, and the 750 Supersport among others.

In 1995, the Italian company launched the Ducati 916 I la Ducati Estrada, which are currently on display at La Sala Vinçon.
