Disseny Peep Show

Achile Castiglioni

03/04/95. (Sala 166)

In 1995, La Sala Vinçon hosted a tribute from the local design world to the architect and industrial designer Achille Castiglioni, one of the first and great Italian designers

“We improvised a wall, which was like a peep show, we gave him some coins that he inserted into the slots. Behind the wall we were fifteen admirers of the master waiting for the coin to fall. When it was our turn, each of us would come out and offer him a gift for his large collection of special objects. I gave him a hammer that I found in Morocco. We all have very good memories, because Achille was very affectionate”, explains Fernando Amat.

Behind the windows waiting for their turn: Miquel Milá, Pepe Cortés, Fernando Salas, Ramón Benedito, Javier Mariscal, Juli Capella, Quim Larrea, Eduard Samsó, Óscar Tusquets, Dani Freixes, David Carrasco and Fernando Amat.

Curators: Juli Capella and Quim Larrea.
