TOSHIYUKI KITA

The furniture and product designer Toshiyuki Kita presents in La Sala Vinçon two spaces, the traditional and the future. Millennial culture versus a new technological approach to future living.

* A space, a living space of limited dimensions that can be transformed into a theater scene.
* New materials and new technologies should make this space, which will be inhabited by future generations, multifunctional and transformable.
* In everyday life, beyond communication with others and other basic actions, the treatment of information and messages coming from the televised image becomes an important factor.
* A major issue arises here: To what extent will the culture of the past and the new technological culture interrelate in everyday life?
* We are currently witnessing an unprecedented epochal change.
* Not only does everything accumulated from the past serve as a reference, but also topics and issues that did not exist in the past are now multiplying before our eyes.
* The theories that relate spiritual culture to material culture are expanded and endowed with unlimited and original possibilities, thanks to the appearance of electrical energy and new technologies and new materials.
* Depending on the use of these materials and technologies, sublime and varied things are obtained. In case of error. It falls into extravagance.
* These new electronic machines reflect the intelligence and behavior of those individuals who enter the data.
* The light and space of the images deeply influence the hearts of men. They remind us, when one wants, of the atmosphere of the freshness of the morning, the space of spring in the mountains or on the plains and the melancholy of a sunset.
