Presentación silla Gaulino

Oscar Tusquets Blanca

21/10/87. (Sala 092)

“In the footsteps of Antoni and Carlo we find these remains of Gaulino that have suggested to me strange furniture”. Oscar Tusquets.

In La Sala Vinçon Oscar Tusquets presents a new piece, born from the fusion of Antonio Gaudí and Carlo Molino. An elegant chair in wood and leather.

With the pieces of the chair a large skeleton was assembled, which looked like a marine animal, hanging from the ceiling, while in the window Antonio Gaudí, in wax, contemplated again his esteemed neighborhood.

A multidisciplinary creator, he started in the artistic discipline at the School of Arts and Crafts of this city. He studied at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona where he graduated in 1965. He worked in the studio of Federico Correa and Alfonso Milá. In 1964 he founds Studio PER with architects Pep Bonet, Cristian Cirici and Lluís Clotet. At the same time he develops industrial design projects.
