Performance by Jordi Cerdà “La cadira de Kosuth és una bona cadira”.

February 18th at 7:30 pm

Jordi Cerdà has always used performance in his line of work, where a constant has been the reflection on the artistic fact, art itself and the artist.

On this occasion he has reused Kosuth’s idea “One and three chairs” (1965), in which he uses an image inside another image, delimited to the “box of objects” that is a shop window. The figure of Vinçon’s shop window as an exhibition platform is used by Cerdà to show everything he finds in the store that is used to sit on.

These activities of action of Jordi Cerdà must be inscribed within the framework of his achievements, such as his exhibitions, shows, installations… a long professional career of twenty-five years already.
