(Sala 290)<\/h3>\n<p>Painter and illustrator, Leonard Beard presents a selection of drawings made to illustrate opinion articles published in El Peri\u00f3dico de Catalunya.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition presents a selection of illustrations of opinion articles published in the Catalan newspaper over the past few years. The sample consists of twelve signed prints in digital format and a large format canvas reproduction.<\/p>\n<p>The expressive power of the work recommends a different approach from the format which they were originally created for and invite you to re-visit them from a different perspective.If we were unaware that these illustrations were produced from todays bustly newspapers you might have thought that they were small works of art. Each drawing is displayed together with a reproduction of the page from El Peri\u00f3dico that corresponds to the day it was published and with the text it illustrates.
