The inflated memory. BIBENDUM 1898-1998<\/p>\n

On October 7th at 8 pm the first part of the exhibition will be opening and will remain until 25th October. Daniel Montlle\u00f3\u2019s proposal (a founding partner of A.C.M. Associaci\u00f3 per la cultura i l\u2019art contemporani, Matar\u00f3) and the collaboration of the MICHELIN company allows us to show this exhibition in two parts.<\/p>\n

The first part will only show historical material and collector\u2019s items such as metal plates, a collection of small cars, BIBENDUM dolls of different sizes and materials, old magazines and catalogues, an hydraulic pump…This first part will take place from 7 to 25 October.<\/p>\n

The second part will take place from 29 October to 20 November, which will be dedicated to the artists that have used the BIBENDUM image in theirs works. Among them, Javier Mariscal, Sigfrido Mart\u00edn Begu\u00e9, Ana Laura Alaez and Peret.<\/p>\n

The exhibition includes a space dedicated to O\u2019galop (1867-1946), who has created the BIBENDUM original image. It will include some of his original works. This artist was one of the pioneers in working with celluloid drawings, also known as cartoons.<\/p>\n
