It was considered by the Life magazine as one of the top two Spanish photographers and major Tokyo stores ask for still life on roses for a calendar. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, Toni Catany (Llucmajor, Mallorca, 1942) admits: \u201cIf I had a family I would experience problems to make a living out of my profession. They are not traded fairly and museums are still debating whether artists occasionally take photographs, or if there are photographers who are artists\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The 60 photographs in La Sala Vin\u00e7on show a special technique.
