(Sala 149)<\/h3>\n<p>La Sala Vin\u00e7on holds an exhibition by Miguel Gallardo (Lleida, 1955) titled \u201cPulp Art\u201d from 29 April &#8211; 15 May.<\/p>\n<p>This exhibition, organized by the FICOMIC exhibition department coincides with the solo exhibition titled \u201cPerro Nick\u201d, Best Album Award 1992, dedicates the 11th Sal\u00f3 Internacional del C\u00f2mic de Barcelona this year.<\/p>\n<p>Gallardo \u201cPulp Art\u201d proposes new ways of thinking about art concept of interiority, which undoubtedly forms part of its distinctive syntax style: his images are of great adjective exuberance that combines different iconographies turning a particular story into a repository of different worlds. Gallardo ultimately approaches reality not as a univocal and lineal truth but as something entirely personal, where objective aspects become a part but also the dream, the desire, the unconscious\u2026 So that we finally contemplate his own inner world \u2013 the pulp, that which remains hidden beneath a seemingly logical reality.<\/p>\n<p>The term \u201cPulp\u201d was also used during the 30\u2019s to name cheap publications and especially \u201csensational\u201d novels some of them over time are no longer direct consumer pieces becoming works of artistic interest. Gallardo has also wanted to emphasize on his relationship with this creative area that took on the creative imagery and recognizable consumer advertising, magazine illustration, interior design, comics, television\u2026 in a chaotic and ambiguous way.<\/p>\n<p>Gallardo connects his work not only with current plastic trends that deny the visual narrative vision of reality but he also does it with a contemporary perception that understands fragmentation as a system of understanding in an unconnected world.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cPulp Art\u201d exhibition by Gallardo includes the most important graphic works, from posters to more personal work and shows us Gallardo\u2019s great graphic domain and strong communicative will.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lasalavincon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/lol\/149_1.jpg\" width=\"100%\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lasalavincon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/lol\/149_2.jpg\" width=\"100%\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lasalavincon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/lol\/149_3.jpg\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La Sala Vin\u00e7on.
