(Sala 271)<\/h3>\n<p>El pop, que tot ho devora t\u00e9 els seus propis ac\u00f2lits. Carmelo Hernando \u00e9s un d\u2019ells. Avesat en el c\u00f2mic, el cartell i el fotomuntatge, aquest alquimista de la imatge i de les ret\u00f2riques de l\u2019art i la cultura de masses, ha fet el salt a les arts de s\u00e8ries per a tornar al taller de pintor.<\/p>\n<p>La materialitat del pigment i el temps s\u00f3n els seus nous aliats i la ra\u00f3 de ser de l\u2019etiqueta que s\u2019ha tret de la m\u00e0niga per el seu retorn: memorialisme pop. De la seva obra recent a l&#8217;oli ha triat dues s\u00e8ries sobre el temps, Espanes i N\u00fameros. La mat\u00e8ria de la primera \u00e9s la hist\u00f2ria. La mitologia, la de la segona.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00fameros transcorre al llarg de 25.000 anys. En ella, Hernando fa un inventari d&#8217;icones i de fetitxes -des de la Venus de Willendorf fins als nostres dies-, en qu\u00e8 deixa traslluir f\u00edlies i f\u00f2bies, i que per tant no escatima cert ajust de comptes. Un museu imaginari que apunta a la restituci\u00f3 de l&#8217;il\u00b7limitat a el mateix, i que recorda als gabinets de curiositats, epifenomen de l&#8217;obsessi\u00f3 renaixentista per quadrar el macro amb el microcosmos, tot i que passats per la pr\u00e0ctica de l&#8217;tuning, en aquest cas, iconogr\u00e0fic .<\/p>\n<p>Per contra, la de Espanes \u00e9s la mesura d&#8217;una vida: 55 anys, l&#8217;edat de l&#8217;artista. Aqu\u00ed l&#8217;estrat\u00e8gia \u00e9s diferent, i exigeix \u200b\u200buna lectura pol\u00edtica.
